A summer rule we try and live by is that if we can eat outside, we do.  And one of our favourite places to do this in Stratford is AO Pasta on Erie Street. You can usually spot my Norco Bush Pilot locked to the fence as I almost always bike to eat here. Walking or biking to a summer patio means enjoying a nice drink or two without having to worry about leaving a vehicle behind. 

I love the vibe on AO’s patio. It feels urban – it is on a busy street, its decor is simple and it seems to invite me to linger and take in warm summer nights and good food with my favourite people. 

I also sometimes come here alone. I take a book with me and keep myself company. I like to just sit and people watch and chat with whomever might be dining around me. 

My favourite drink is the Aperol Spritz. Isn’t it pretty!!!

Anyone who eats with me knows that I love to share food with people. Here are some of my go-tos. Really, everything is delicious! I am always excited to see what daily specials they are offering. Their instagram updates lure me in!

One thing I order every time I go is the Arancini. I wanted to include a picture but I started eating it and it was too late for a pretty pic. Just trust me!
