Happy Father’s Day weekend to all of the dads out there!
I love to buy Eric a new t-shirt from Gruv every year. Here are the last four year’s worth…
This is the last Father’s Day card I gave to my dad. And this is why I love cards. If you say something in them that captures a moment in time, they become little diaries of your relationships.
Here are the notes I made about my dad within the week after he died. I wanted to remember the small things. It is the small things that really make a person, isn’t it.
And here are the great men in my life. My grandpa, my dad and Eric. (I forgot about how much I hated that hat of Eric’s. One day, it disappeared…)
I love big sporting events, like the NBA Finals, because I know exactly what my dad would be doing if he was still here; Sitting is his recliner with a Pepsi and homemade popcorn.
Father’s Day for many of the Raptors’ star players will be extra bitter sweet this year. Both Fred VanVleet and Kawhi Leonard’s fathers were shot and killed when they were young. Fred was 5 and Kawhi, 16. Pascal Siakam’s father was killed in a car accident when Pascal was 20. Serge Ibaka lost his mother when he was only 8. These players have overcome a lot.
Have you seen any of Jimmy Kimmel’s Father’s Day YouTube challenges? Last year’s challenge was to sneak up and yell ‘I love you!’. He posted this video on dads this year. Too funny!
This Dad Life video is hilarious!
